Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mudassar Manzoor was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The price achieved of USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,153.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mudassar Manzoor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,004.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mudassar Manzoor kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.153,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mudassar Manzoor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.004,16) versteigert wurde.
