Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Phillips in London held the auction Under the Influence, which included this untitled work by Mounir Fatmi. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,732.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mounir Fatmi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sonia Sonia Sonia in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 176,944.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mounir Fatmi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.732,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mounir Fatmi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sonia Sonia Sonia im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 176.944,11).
