Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Moses Matheusz. van Uyttenbroeck could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings Sale auction, the work Arcadian Landscape With Resting Shepherds With Their Cattle, Antiquities Beyond changed hands for EUR 8,125.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moses Matheusz. van Uyttenbroeck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bewaldete Landschaft mit Salmakis und Hermaphroditos in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 372,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moses Matheusz. van Uyttenbroeck konnte im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings Sale wechselte die Arbeit Arcadian Landscape With Resting Shepherds With Their Cattle, Antiquities Beyond für EUR 8.125,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moses Matheusz. van Uyttenbroeck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bewaldete Landschaft mit Salmakis und Hermaphroditos im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.000,00.
