Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work An Arcadian wooded landscape with nymphs and cattle, figures dancing around a maypole beyond by Moses Matheusz. van Uyttenbroeck for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,362.02). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moses Matheusz. van Uyttenbroeck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bewaldete Landschaft mit Salmakis und Hermaphroditos in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 372,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit An Arcadian wooded landscape with nymphs and cattle, figures dancing around a maypole beyond von Moses Matheusz. van Uyttenbroeck für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.362,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moses Matheusz. van Uyttenbroeck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bewaldete Landschaft mit Salmakis und Hermaphroditos im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 372.000,00.
