The work Drawing 2 by Moriyuki Kuwabara was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in February 2017. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,708.98), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Moriyuki Kuwabara - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interrelationship in Concurrence Organisation (7), which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,735.94).

Die Arbeit Drawing 2 von Moriyuki Kuwabara wurde im Februar 2017 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.708,98) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Moriyuki Kuwabara mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interrelationship in Concurrence Organisation (7) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.735,94) versteigert wurde.
