Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xing Yun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in August last year. In the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction, the work Calligraphy in Running Script sold for HKD 12,750.00 (€ 1,613.86) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xing Yun erzielte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script für HKD 12.750,00 (€ 1.613,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
