It achieved a price of HKD 20,400.00 (€ 2,397.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 132,000.00 (€ 134,797.83).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Xing Yun wurde im Januar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 20.400,00 (€ 2.397,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 132.000,00 (€ 134.797,83).
