Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait D'Une Jeune Femme by Moïse Kisling was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2008. The price achieved of USD 68,500.00 (€ 49,213.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moïse Kisling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).

Die Arbeit Portrait D'Une Jeune Femme von Moïse Kisling kam im Dezember 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 49.213,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling erzielen.
