Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Family by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in May this year. The price achieved of GBP 25,600.00 (€ 29,785.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November this year the work The Family was auctioned for GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04).
