Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Female Forms each 28 x 6cm by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online auction at Bonhams in January this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,617.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Family in November this year with an auction result of GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Female Forms each 28 x 6cm von Mohammed Ghani Hikmat wurde im Januar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.617,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohammed Ghani Hikmat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Family im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.000,00 (€ 37.081,04).
