Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,680.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Family, which sold at auction in November this year for GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04).
