In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction, the work The Bedouin Camp sold for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,239.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Family in November this year with an auction result of GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammed Ghani Hikmat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Family im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.000,00 (€ 37.081,04).
