In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction, the work The Bedouin Camp sold for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,239.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Family in November this year with an auction result of GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mohammed Ghani Hikmat erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections wurde die Arbeit The Bedouin Camp für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.239,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammed Ghani Hikmat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Family im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.000,00 (€ 37.081,04).
