Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Queen Of The Desert by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,428.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Family in November this year with an auction result of GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04).
