Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Female Form I by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,496.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohammed Ghani Hikmat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Family in November this year with an auction result of GBP 32,000.00 (€ 37,081.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Female Form I von Mohammed Ghani Hikmat wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert.
