Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Bleed Ii by Imran Qureshi for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,965.09). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art including Indian Miniature Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Imran Qureshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Garden Within in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 42,500.00 (€ 49,805.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bleed Ii von Imran Qureshi für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.965,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art including Indian Miniature Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Imran Qureshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Garden Within im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.500,00 (€ 49.805,80).
