The work Buddha And Bodhi Tree 1 by Moat Thone was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,553.16). With this result, Buddha And Bodhi Tree 1 is even the most expensive work of art by Moat Thone that we have observed at auctions so far.
