The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,476.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Moat Thone have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2019 the work Buddha And Bodhi Tree 1 was auctioned for HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,553.16).
