Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Miroslav Tichý could be acquired at Phillips in London in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 1,188.00 (€ 1,550.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Miroslav Tichý have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,689.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Miroslav Tichý konnte im Mai 2016 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.188,00 (€ 1.550,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miroslav Tichý auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.689,97).
