This artwork by Miriam Cahn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale auction, the work herumstehen, 9. + 29.1. + 13.4.17 (standing around, 9. + 29.1. + 13.4.17) sold for GBP 201,600.00 (€ 234,627.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Miriam Cahn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot o.t. sold at auction in October this year with the realized price of HKD 2,286,000.00 (€ 276,448.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Miriam Cahn erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit herumstehen, 9. + 29.1. + 13.4.17 (standing around, 9. + 29.1. + 13.4.17) für GBP 201.600,00 (€ 234.627,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Miriam Cahn; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit o.t. im Oktober diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 2.286.000,00 (€ 276.448,52).
