Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Christies in London held the auction 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale, which included the work gezeichnet 17.6. + 3.7.2018 (drawn 17.6. + 3.7.2018) by Miriam Cahn. The price achieved of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 108,512.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miriam Cahn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work o.t., which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 2,286,000.00 (€ 276,448.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit gezeichnet 17.6. + 3.7.2018 (drawn 17.6. + 3.7.2018) von Miriam Cahn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 108.512,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Miriam Cahn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit o.t. beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 2.286.000,00 (€ 276.448,52) versteigert wurde.
