Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Canaris II by Miquel Barceló. The price achieved of GBP 8,960.00 (€ 10,427.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miquel Barceló achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Faena De Muleta in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 3,961,250.00 (€ 4,382,386.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Canaris II von Miquel Barceló zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.960,00 (€ 10.427,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miquel Barceló erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Faena De Muleta im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.961.250,00 (€ 4.382.386,82).
