Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pagoda Bell by Min Zaw was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 21,250.00 (€ 2,392.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Min Zaw have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2019 the work Entrance Of Myatheintan was auctioned for HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,561.16).
