Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale, which included the work Chinese Temple by Min Zaw. The price achieved of HKD 20,000.00 (€ 2,201.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Min Zaw have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2019 the work Entrance Of Myatheintan was auctioned for HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,561.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chinese Temple von Min Zaw zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 20.000,00 (€ 2.201,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Min Zaw konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2019 die Arbeit Entrance Of Myatheintan für HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.561,16) versteigert.
