A top price for Min Wae Aung - as previously expected
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Dusty Journey by Min Wae Aung. It changed hands for a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,242.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 65,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dusty Journey is the most expensive artwork by Min Wae Aung that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dusty Journey von Min Wae Aung zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.242,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 65.000,00 – 100.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Dusty Journey das teuerste Kunstwerk von Min Wae Aung, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
