In December 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work In The Paddock by Milton Menasco. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,170.00 (€ 5,691.83), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, In The Paddock is even the most expensive work of art by Milton Menasco that we have observed at auctions so far.
