Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Milton Menasco could be acquired at Christies in New York in December 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Sporting and Wildlife Art auction, the work Mrs Esther Du Pont Weir's Royal Governor changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 898.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Milton Menasco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In The Paddock in December 2003 with an auction result of USD 7,170.00 (€ 5,691.83).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieses Kunstwerk von Milton Menasco konnte im Dezember 2008 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
