Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work San Francisco (1) by Milton Halberstadt for USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,542.51). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs from the Polaroid Collection at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Milton Halberstadt have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2010 by the work San Francisco (2) (From Twin Peaks, Noe Valley) at USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,068.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit San Francisco (1) von Milton Halberstadt für USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.542,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs from the Polaroid Collection bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Milton Halberstadt wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2010 die Arbeit San Francisco (2) (From Twin Peaks, Noe Valley) mit USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.068,02).
