This artwork by Milne Ramsey achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in August last year. In the American Art auction, the work Landscape with Lake sold for USD 2,040.00 (€ 2,026.83) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700.00. Admittedly, works by Milne Ramsey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers On A Table in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,612.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Milne Ramsey erzielte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit Landscape with Lake für USD 2.040,00 (€ 2.026,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Milne Ramsey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers On A Table im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.612,32).
