This artwork by Milne Ramsey achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in August last year. In the American Art auction, the work Field with Wildflowers sold for USD 535.50 (€ 532.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Milne Ramsey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers On A Table in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,612.32).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Milne Ramsey erzielte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit Field with Wildflowers für USD 535,50 (€ 532,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Milne Ramsey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers On A Table im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.612,32).
