The work Flowers in a vase by Mildred Bendall was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in May 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,942.47), 65% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mildred Bendall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Trawler, which sold at auction in March 2015 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,530.21).

Die Arbeit Flowers in a vase von Mildred Bendall wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.942,47) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mildred Bendall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Trawler beobachtet, die im März 2015 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.530,21) versteigert wurde.
