Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,716.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mildred Anne Butler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Garden Cart, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,317.62).
