Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.120,00 (€ 4.630,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikhail Shemyakin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le carnaval de Saint Petersbourg im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.960,00 (€ 18.975,11).
