Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work The Joker by Mikhail Petrovich Klodt. The price achieved of GBP 242,500.00 (€ 304,889.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 220,000.00 – 280,000.00. Other works by Mikhail Petrovich Klodt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2008 the work The Joker was auctioned for GBP 313,250.00 (€ 378,742.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Joker von Mikhail Petrovich Klodt zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 242.500,00 (€ 304.889,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 220.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Petrovich Klodt konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2008 die Arbeit The Joker für GBP 313.250,00 (€ 378.742,79) versteigert.
