Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cows in the Pasture by Mikhail Petrovich Klodt was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,669.74). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Petrovich Klodt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Joker in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 378,742.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cows in the Pasture von Mikhail Petrovich Klodt wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.669,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Petrovich Klodt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Joker im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 313.250,00 (€ 378.742,79).
