Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Landcapes: 'Promenading In Gorky Park' And 'Summer Pastoral' by Mikhail Nikolaevich Yakovlev was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006. The price achieved of GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,167.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Nikolaevich Yakovlev achieve.
