In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Les Feuillages by Mikhail Larionov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 559,500.00 (€ 651,962.95), 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mikhail Larionov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,260,000.00 (€ 3,353,726.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Feuillages von Mikhail Larionov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 559.500,00 (€ 651.962,95) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikhail Larionov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.260.000,00 (€ 3.353.726,33).
