A top price for Mikhail Larionov
In June 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Sale - Paintings, which included the work Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 by Mikhail Larionov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,260,000.00 (€ 3,353,726.33), 51% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 the most expensive artwork by Mikhail Larionov that we have observed at auctions so far.
