Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Landscape (The Orchard) by Mikhail Larionov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 423,000.00 (€ 496,705.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mikhail Larionov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,260,000.00 (€ 3,353,726.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape (The Orchard) von Mikhail Larionov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 423.000,00 (€ 496.705,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikhail Larionov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.260.000,00 (€ 3.353.726,33).
