The work Costume Design for the Fox in the ballet Le Renard by Mikhail Larionov was worth GBP 27,720.00 (€ 30,965.71) to a buyer in December 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Larionov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,260,000.00 (€ 3,353,726.33).
