Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Costume Design for the Fox in the ballet Le Renard by Mikhail Larionov was worth GBP 27,720.00 (€ 30,965.71) to a buyer in December 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Larionov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,260,000.00 (€ 3,353,726.33).

Die Arbeit Costume Design for the Fox in the ballet Le Renard von Mikhail Larionov war einem Käufer im Dezember 2020 GBP 27.720,00 (€ 30.965,71) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Larionov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Jug And Icon, C.1910-1912 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.260.000,00 (€ 3.353.726,33).
