Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mikhail Chemiakin was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,793.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Chemiakin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life with lemons, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 29,300.00 (€ 41,027.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mikhail Chemiakin wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.793,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Chemiakin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still life with lemons beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 29.300,00 (€ 41.027,58) versteigert wurde.
