Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Rebel Spirits, Part IINon-conformist art from Important European Collections, which included the work Philosophie de la mer/ Philosophy of the Sea, 1977 sans cadre by Mikhail Chemiakin. The price achieved of EUR 255.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Chemiakin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with lemons in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 41,027.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IINon-conformist art from Important European Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Philosophie de la mer/ Philosophy of the Sea, 1977 sans cadre von Mikhail Chemiakin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 255,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Chemiakin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still life with lemons im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 41.027,58).
