Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carnaval/ Carnival by Mikhail Chemiakin was sold in the Rebel spiritsNon-conformist art from Important European collections auction at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,187.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 4,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Chemiakin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with lemons in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 41,027.58).

Die Arbeit Carnaval/ Carnival von Mikhail Chemiakin wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Rebel spiritsNon-conformist art from Important European collections bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.187,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Chemiakin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still life with lemons im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 41.027,58).
