Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Works on Paper by Mikhail Chemiakin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,958.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Chemiakin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still life with lemons in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 41,027.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Works on Paper von Mikhail Chemiakin kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.958,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Chemiakin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still life with lemons im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 41.027,58).
