This artwork by Mikhail Chemiakin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2021. In the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction, the work Still Life sold for GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,691.29) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mikhail Chemiakin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with lemons in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 41,027.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mikhail Chemiakin erzielte im September 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online wurde die Arbeit Still Life für GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.691,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikhail Chemiakin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with lemons im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 41.027,58).
