Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mike Lee achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December 2020. In the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction, the work I'M Sorry - 2018 sold for EUR 41,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mike Lee; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dear God sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,467.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mike Lee erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary wurde die Arbeit I'M Sorry - 2018 für EUR 41.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mike Lee; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dear God im Dezember 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 59.467,22).
