Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Campbell'S Onion Soup by Mike Bidlo was auctioned at Artcurial in December 2015. The price achieved of EUR 18,125.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Bidlo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,260,000.00 (€ 1,174,168.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Campbell'S Onion Soup von Mike Bidlo kam im Dezember 2015 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 18.125,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Bidlo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.260.000,00 (€ 1.174.168,30).
