Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Miguel Ybáñez was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,600.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,673.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miguel Ybáñez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2007 for EUR 4,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Miguel Ybáñez wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.600,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.673,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Miguel Ybáñez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2007 für EUR 4.375,00 versteigert wurde.
