In November 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work The Virgin And Child In Glory by Miguel Cabrera. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 23,229.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miguel Cabrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El Nacimiento De La Virgen; La Llegada A Belén; La Adoración De Los Reyes Magos; La Presentación En El Templo; La Huida A Egipto; La Muerte De San José; Pentecostés; La Asunción De La Virgen in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 362,500.00 (€ 278,076.10).
