In June 2000 Christies in New York held the auction The Latin American Sale, which included the work Coming to America by Miguel d'Arienzo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,325.00 (€ 23,389.21). Other works by Miguel d'Arienzo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 22,325.00 (€ 26,404.49) in May 2001 for the work Tristes noches de Xochimilco.
