Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work The Birth of Argentina by Miguel d'Arienzo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,383.46). Other works by Miguel d'Arienzo have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 22,325.00 (€ 26,404.49) in May 2001 for the work Tristes noches de Xochimilco.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Birth of Argentina von Miguel d'Arienzo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.383,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Miguel d'Arienzo haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.325,00 (€ 26.404,49) im Mai 2001 für die Arbeit Tristes noches de Xochimilco beobachtet.
